Fine Tubes Seamless and Welded Stainless Steel, Nickel and Titanium Tubes

Fine Tubes is a leading global manufacturer of high specification and precision metal tubing in stainless steel, nickel and titanium alloys. Our engineering and metallurgical expertise enables us to develop high-performance products for niche markets where our tubes need to perform in the most extreme environments.
Our products include:
- Seamless stainless steel, nickel and titanium tubes in straight length or coils from 3mm (0.040in) outer diameter (OD) to 31mm (1½in) OD
- Welded, welded and drawn or bead-reduced stainless-steel tubes and nickel tubing in straight length or coils from 3mm (0.118in) OD to 28mm (1¼in) OD
Heat exchanger tubes
Fine Tubes manufacture a variety of products tailored to meet the demands and specifications required in the fabrication of shell and tube heat exchangers. Our high-performance heat exchangers are used for the cooling, heating or re-heating of fluids and gases; they can be produced as seamless, welded or welded redrawn tubes in the following materials:
- Nickel alloys
- Austenitic stainless steels
- Duplex
- Super duplex
- Super alloys
Heat exchanger tubes are available at standard dimensions between 12.70mm and 38.10mm OD. Fine Tubes also specialises in the production of small diameter thin wall tubing at a minimum size of 0.98mm OD with a 0.04mm wall thickness.
Condenser tubes for fluids and gases
Fine Tubes supplies a full range of thin wall tubing products suitable for the fabrication of condenser tubes.
Our precision tubes are specifically designed for the role condenser tubes play in the heating, cooling or reheating of fluids and gases. Available in seamless, welded and welded redrawn formats the condenser tubes are produced in the following metal grades:
- Stainless steel (304L, 316L)
- Titanium alloy (Ti CP Grade 2)
- Austenitic stainless steels (904L)
- Nickel alloys (C276, C22, Alloy 600)
Condenser tubes come in industry standard sizes ranging from 12.70mm to 38.10mm OD. Fine Tubes also offer non-standard specialist sizes on request.
Cooling tubes
Fine Tubes is a leading supplier of high quality cooling tubes across a range of industries. We supply high quality stainless steel, nickel and titanium tubes that can be supplied in straight lengths up to 20m. Completed packages of U-bent formed tubes and P-tubes can be supplied in ready-to-be-installed condition.
Fine Tubes supplied the cryogenic cooling tubes deployed in the beam screens of the semiconductor magnets in the Large Hadron Collider. Carrying a flow of supercritical helium, the specialist cooling tubes were manufactured from a specially formulated stainless steel.
Stainless steel tubes
Stainless steel tubing possesses an excellent combination of corrosion resistance, metallurgical stability and formability. These solid mechanical properties and fabrication characteristics make high quality stainless steel tubes a suitable material for a range of industries. Stainless steel grades manufactured by Fine Tubes include single phase austenitic, dual phase duplex grades and a full range of industry standard and specialist alloys.
Nickel alloy tubes
Nickel alloys offer excellent corrosion resistance in both aqueous and high temperature applications and are very useful materials for the manufacturing of high quality tubing products.
In addition to their high melting points and resistance to oxidation and corrosion, our nickel alloy tubes maintain higher metallurgical stability than other stainless steel alloys. This makes them suitable for use in industries where extreme temperatures and pressures are present.
Fine Tubes is the exclusive supplier of nickel-chromium alloy 625 tubes for the central receiver of the Gemasolar Power Plant. We have also manufactured heat exchanger tubes in the same nickel-chromium alloy 625 for the solar plant’s steam generators.
Titanium tubes for adverse operating conditions
Titanium has high-strength, unique density and great corrosion resistance, making it a highly suitable material for high-performance metal tubing. Our titanium tubing is exceptionally corrosion-resistant with a tensile strength and melting point that exceeds austenitic or ferritic stainless steels. Fine Tubes manufacture titanium tubes for use in a range of demanding applications and harsh environments.
Seamless tubes
Fine Tubes uses multiple combinations of different processes to manufacture high-quality seamless tubing to the exact specifications required by our customers. Fine Tubes supplies seamless tubes in the following sizes:
- 3.0mm (0.118in) to 50.8mm (2in) OD
- Straight lengths up to 16m (51ft)
In addition, seamless coiled tubing is available from 6.35mm (0.25in) through to 25.4mm (1in) OD.
Welded tubes
Fine Tubes’ welded and drawn tubes sizes are available in the following sizes:
- Up to 38.1mm (1.5in) OD
- Straight lengths up to 16m (51ft)
- Coil tubes (with orbital joints) up to 12,000m (40,000ft) long
Fine Tubes uses a range of eddy current and ultrasonic testing methods to gauge a consistent weld, and tubes can be drawn down by sinking or plug drawing.
Instrumentation tubes
Instrumentation tubing is available from 1.6mm (0.063in) outside diameter for precision instrumentation. High-strength stainless steel, duplex and super duplex stainless steel, titanium and nickel alloys are used in manufacturing where operating conditions can require our products to be rated up to 60,000Psi. Standard tubes are available in nominal 6m straight lengths or in coiled form.
