DEWE-638-PNA is one of DEWETRON’s smallest measurement devices for several mobile wind power monitoring applications.
With a size of only 7.9in x 5.9in x 3in (200mm x 150mm x 75mm) and a weight of 5.5lb (2.5kg), the instrument is very handy in use. To control the instrument, it can be connected to a LAN via TCP / IP or using an UMTS modem. The setting and the report generation is completed by using any internet browser the customer is familiar with.
DEWE-638-PNA provides an online reporting tool to generate IEC61400 (measurement of power quality characteristics of grid connected wind turbines) and EN50160 (voltage characteristics).
For these reports, many power parameters such as harmonics, interharmonics, THDI, calculation of power bins and basic values such as voltage, current and frequency, are measured and calculated by MARLIN, the power measurement software running on the instrument.
The reports contain tables, including dataset A/B and diagrams of the CP-curve, normed power and even curves of several environmental data such as wind speed, wind direction, temperature and air pressure.
Sensors, including current clamps, transducers and Rogowsky coils, can be interconnected with DEWE-638-PNA. Environmental sensors are connected via CAN. The instrument provides two USB, one Ethernet and one RS-232 interface.
