DSTI’s fluid swivels for solar field piping systems are designed to provide rotational movement through a single passage at high temperatures. They are particularly well-suited for collector piping in a parabolic trough concentrated solar power (CSP) field.
The main features of the fluid swivels include a specialised high temperature packing sealing system (suitable for 1,000°F), internal corrosion-resistant bearings, and a customer-specified design for direct welding to the piping system. This unit is also designed for medias including high temperature steam and heat transfer fluid (HTF).
