ReneSola signs agreement to sell two solar projects in UK

ReneSola, a fully-integrated solar project developer and provider of energy-efficient products, has agreed to sell two ground-mount projects in UK to Greencoat Solar II LP.

Greencoat Solar II LP is an investment arm managed by Greencoat Capital LLP, a renewable investment management firm in the UK.

These two projects are located in North Yorkshire and Shropshire.

Qualified under the 1.2 Renewable Obligations Certificate (ROC) programme, the two projects have a combined capacity of around 10MW.

ReneSola chairman and chief executive officer Xianshou Li said: "The agreement demonstrates the strength of our ability to develop and monetize projects in the downstream segment of the solar industry.

"We are proud of our continued execution in the region and look forward to driving incremental project development globally."

Set up in 2005, and listed on the New York Stock Exchange in 2008, ReneSola is a solar project developer and provider of energy efficient products.
