GTC Control Solutions Performance-Tested Controls for the Renewables Industry
GTC Control Solutions (GTC), formerly known as Gas Turbine Controls, specialises in extending the operational life of ABB, Alstom, Bently Nevada, Emerson, General Electric (GE), Honeywell, Rolls Entronic, Siemens, Triconex, Westinghouse and Woodward control systems through the supply of spares, repairs and services.
Initially, servicing GE Gas and Steam, GTC expanded into supporting GE wind turbine controls and GE industrial controls.
GE spares for wind turbines
Our multimillion-dollar inventory for GE includes MKI, MKII, MKIII, MKIV, MKV, MKVI, MKVIe, Alterrex, Generrex, EX2000, EX2100, LCI Drive and Digital Generator Protection System (DGP).
Inventory beyond GE includes ABB’s Procontrol, Turbotrol, Eagatrol, Bailey Net 90, Infi 90 and BBC Decontic, Alstom’s ALSPA P320, Controcad, Controbloc and TGC, Bently Nevada’s 3300 and 3500, Emerson’s Ovation, Honeywell’s TDC 2000 and TDC 3000, Rolls Entronic’s FT-50, FT-100 and FT-110, Siemens’ SIMATIC and S5/S7, Triconex’s Tricon, Westinghouse’s WEStation and WDPF, and Woodward’s 505/505E, NetCon and MicroNet.
Testing and repair for GE controls
Some plants have a limited lifespan, which is not economically viable. GTC provides repair and remanufacturing solutions that lower costs and align with client goals of reducing waste.
Extending our commitment beyond parts, we have a dedicated team that is fully trained in all aspects of testing and repairs to diagnose issues quickly and efficiently 24/7.
In addition to conducting functional tests on numerous circuit boards with fully energised panels, we have a state-of-the-art repair facility to ensure all work is performed in a clean and controlled environment.
Our Test & Certification and Repair Services are available for many of the product lines we support. They include a detailed Technical Report and Warranty Certificate with an unmatched certification period of up to six years.
GE field and training courses
GTC offers a number of courses carried out by knowledgeable instructors and practicing field engineers. Customers can choose from predefined seminars or fully customised classes to suit specific requirements.
Our training provides students with real-world lab sessions using energised panels.
Upgrades for the renewables sector
If your original system does not have the features you require, GTC can upgrade your technology to a more recent legacy system for a fraction of the cost of a new system provided by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM). If a customer requires an OEM upgrade, GTC can cover the cost by acquiring the pull-out system and spares inventory.
To evaluate surplus systems, the customer has to list all installed hardware in the panel, spares in stock and damaged / failed hardware in stock, take pictures where possible, offer a full description of the available equipment and determine when the parts will be available for purchase.
GTC has decades of experience and a proven track record of delivering performance-tested controls.
We are leaders in state-of-the-art technologies, research new resources and apply them in new ways to solve problems.
