Alongside consultancy services, SeaRoc also provides full engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) and principal contractor roles. These contracting services ensure that projects are delivered to a high quality, both on time and to budget.
At the forefront of this is SeaRoc’s capability to act as principle contractor, coordinating a range of tasks, for example:
- Planning of offshore operations
- Management of subcontractors and procurement process
- Management of installation
- Coordination of HSE throughout project
- Marine coordination
Most notably, SeaRoc was appointed by EDF Energy Renewables as principal contractor for Teesside Offshore Wind Farm to undertake the remaining planning, management and co-ordination of work on the project, involving the installation of the 27 WTGs and towers, TP energisation and cable terminations, marine coordination, scour protection and array commissioning.
In addition, SeaRoc has been a core part in a number of other installations including the deployment of a significant number of offshore metmasts and wave and tidal devices.
Alongside the main installation tasks, SeaRoc’s contracting department also provides a number of further support services:
- Device fabrication
- Provision of specialised client reps with experience of specific vessel types and operations
- Subcontractor management
- Offshore construction supervision
- Supply of temporary offshore power generation
