SeaRoc has the capacity and experience to support the operations and maintenance phase of the offshore project through the provision and management of annual inspection, repair and maintenance (IRM) services for foundations, transition pieces and inter-array cabling surveys. The company additionally supplies the secondary steelwork and sub-components such as external and internal ladders and access equipment, scour protection, cranes and lifting equipment and repair of coating damage.
Through partner firms, SeaRoc provides additional services such as inspection of cathodic protection systems, marine growth removal, and ROV and diver inspections and interventions.
SeaRoc understands that operations and maintenance presents a huge expense to the wind farm operator and believes strongly in minimising costs as far as possible. Wherever possible, SeaRoc will employ local personnel and third party subcontractors (where necessary), not only to reduce costs but to develop loyalty of the workforce to the project. SeaRoc also has a policy of cross-training project teams to ensure that the maximum value may be achieved from the smallest team possible, whilst ensuring sufficient personnel are always in place to meet project needs.
